Made of salt resistance aluminum with Avcarb disc brake. Avcarb is a carbon fibre material used in the braking systems of Formula One racing cars. It hardly expands or contracts in intense heat or icy cold, it is simply an exceptionally smooth drag that won't lose its braking propeties even immersed in water or even oil. This performance reel has three fully sealed stainless steel balls for either salt or freshwater use.
